Hoeksplaas Dorper Stud was established in 2002. 

The farm Hoeksplaas is situated 35 km outside Victoria West in the Northern Cape, South Africa.  It has an average rainfall of 250mm per annum, with temperatures ranging between minus 5°C and 43°C.  Snow is visible on the mountain tops almost every year and the farm has typical Karooveld vegetation. It is no secret that this type of vegetation has enormous nutritional value for sheep and we strive to raise our lambs extensively on this veld.
